S’illa is a multidisciplinary project created in collaboration by L’arannà and the dancer and choreographer Ingrid Magrinyà, all three present on stage.

The starting point of this performance is to explore the island of Ibiza in its complexity through an abstract journey. The synthesis of the abstract journey they undertake achieves a very personal aesthetic that is inspired both by figures of traditional Ibizan dance and by the chiaroscuro of the world-renowned nightlife culture and the mass phenomenon that the peninsula has become worldwide. Music, choreography, and stage design intertwine to evoke a presence that is simultaneously the island’s history, the roots of its culture, and its present.
